Friend’s Day is an Argentine invention, which found inspiration in an unknown dentist, musician and professor of psychology, philosophy and history in a very special way. On July 20, 1969, a man stepped on the Moon for the first time. That day Enrique Ernesto Febbraro had a sudden idea: connect with the rest of the world by sending letters. It was 1,000 messages he sent. All to different people from different countries. The answer was not long in coming: 700 individuals responded to his letter and, in this way, this date was established as International Friend Day.
