We are going to suggest some techniques for learning Spanish, for example, the SMART method that is used to set learning objectives.

Método Smart

GOALS SHOULD BE:

Specific: Define what specific aspect or what level of Spanish you want to achieve in a period of time.

Measurable: Establish how to measure your progress, for example, learning 30 words per week or having a 5-minute dialogue each day.

Achievable: Set realistic goals, if you are a beginner, you will not be able to speak fluently in 3 months.

Relevant: Your goals must be important to you, if you like music, listening to songs, watching subtitled videos and reading the lyrics will be very motivating.

Temporary: Set a deadline for your goals. What level do you want to achieve for your next trip to Latin America?

The SMART Method helps you have an organized way to achieve success in your Spanish learning. Complete these questions to pinpoint your SMART goals:

Specific Objectives: What do you want to achieve? …………………………………………………

Measurable Objectives: How are you going to measure your progress?……………………………..

Achievable Objectives: How are you going to achieve your goals?……………………………..

Relevant Objectives: Why is your objective important to you?………..

Temporary Objectives: When do you plan to achieve your goals?……………………………..
